Make Merry Project will be Closed in 2024

It has been an incredibly difficult decision; due to the lack of staff and human capital, we are unable to hold Make Merry Project in 2024. This is a 100% volunteer run community service project and it's heartbreaking to miss our 5th year. We ask that you continue to find ways to support our community and donate and serve where you are able.

ABOUT THE MAKE MERRY PROJECT

WHO ARE WE?

Founded by Tiffany Gravelle, we're a group of friends, families, businesses, and community members who came together to make a lasting impact for needy families in the greater Albuquerque area. Our goal is to foster love, hope, and service to others.

We do this by creating a private holiday shopping event for the parents and guardians participating in the APS Title 1 McKinney Vento Homeless Program through Toy Drives and Online Donations . These adults are already facing insurmountable odds. Our goal is to treat them to a comfortable, fun, dignified holiday shopping event allowing them to choose gifts for each child in their care, complete with gift wrap.

THE FAMILIES

We work with the APS Title 1 Homeless (McKinney-Vento Program) to identify and communicate with families that will participate in the program.

THE MORE ONLINE DONATIONS WE RECEIVE,

THE MORE FAMILIES WE HELP!

Families receive a one day bus pass or transportation to attend the event, and will be issued a shopping voucher to choose their items.

WAYS TO GIVE

TIME: can you volunteer to support the event?

TREASURE: can you donate toys, books, candy, stocking stuffers, gift wrap, ribbons, tags or money to help us buy items? Can your company sponsor this event? Can you make Online Donations?

TALENT: can you lead a toy drive in your neighborhood, workplace, or church? Can help us find community partners?
