DECEMBER 2020
All remaining gifts and books were given to APS McKinney-Vento Project for continued distribution to vulnerable families.
Remaining hot cocoa mix and 100 + candy stocking bags donated to the Storehouse WEST.
Our Donation Locations begin collecting gifts onsite.
Community groups, like the LCHS Cheer & Dance Squads host large one day toy drives at their location.
We inventory and sort all donations to make sure all ages are covered and we can set up shop more efficiently.
Also known as the Gravelle living room, Make Merry takes over packing donations floor to ceiling. Future years are going to need a bigger space!
It's a LOT to transport. This truck gets filled top to bottom, and several others donate transport vehicles as well.
We count on volunteers to help us unload the donations and set up the "store" for parents to shop. It usually takes a full day to build.
2020 was challenging with many COVID restrictions in place. We had to provide lots of space for our families and limit the number of people in the building. Masks, gloves, temperature checks, and sanitation stations were required.
Salt Yard East generously donated their building to host our event, along with chairs, tables, decor and other items to showcase all of the gifts!
We could not have done it without you! So many generously gave their time to help us run the event, with holiday cheer and amazing attitudes.
